I custom build both Classical and Flamenco guitars in a wide choice of tonewoods. 

At present I have stocks of high grade German Spruce, Engelmann Spruce and Western Red Cedar for tops.

For Classical backs and sides I have Indian Rosewood, Camatillo Rosewood and Amazon Rosewood and for Flamenco I have Spanish Cypress, Monterey Cypress and Palo Escrito.

Many other tonewoods can be supplied on request.

I custom build steel string guitars in several formats:
- Dreadnaught, either square or sloped shoulder.
- My own "JM" geometry which is like an OM on steroids and is very suitable for finger picking styles.
- Tenor with 14 frets to the body and "X" bracing

I also specialize in both round and square neck Resophonic instruments. I do not use plywood for the Resophonics, just high quality tonewoods!!!

I usually use "Beard" cones but can substitute others on request.

I have stocks of Appalachian Red Spruce and Sitka Spruce for tops with European Flamed Maple, Indian Rosewood and Mahogany for backs and sides.

Many other tonewoods, including Quilted Maple, Quilted Mahogany and Flamed Koa can be supplied on request.

I can re-fret your instrument and undertake most types of repairs to both acoustic and electric guitars.

Having trouble with playability? I can set up your guitar exactly as you want it or teach you how to do it yourself with a simple set of tools.

I will be happy to quote new instruments based on your choice of type, tonewoods and hardware and will give you a fixed price for repairs.

All imported tonewoods used by my business come from reputable suppliers who can provide documentation supporting their claim to legal importation.
At present I do not handle Brazillian Rosewood unless it is supplied by my client and has proof of legal importation or "Grandfathered" status.
The Mahogany that I use for backs, sides and necks is FSC certified and cannot be exported from the USA.
Due to serious supply problems, I do not use Madagascar Ebony, but have substituted West African Ebony in its place.
